Can I Use My Own Negotiated Courier Rates with ShipTime?

Yes. If you already have negotiated rates with a supported courier, you may be able to connect your own courier account to ShipTime through our Bring Your Own Rates (BYOR) program.

This allows you to manage shipments using your own courier rates while still taking advantage of ShipTime’s shipping platform.

How does Bring Your Own Rates work?

With BYOR, you connect an eligible courier account that you already have directly with the carrier.

Once connected, your negotiated rates can be available when creating shipments in ShipTime.

BYOR is available for select couriers, including carriers such as:

Canada Post
UPS
FedEx
DHL
Purolator
Canpar
Loomis
GLS

Availability and setup requirements may vary by courier.

Can I compare my rates with ShipTime rates?

Yes. When applicable, you can compare your own negotiated courier rates with the discounted rates available through ShipTime and choose the option that works best for your shipment.

Depending on the courier, service, destination, and shipment details, either option may provide the better rate.

How do I add my own courier account?

To get started with BYOR:

Log in to your ShipTime account.
Go to the area where courier accounts are managed.
Select the supported courier you want to connect and enter the required account information.
Complete any additional setup or verification required for that carrier.

Once your courier account is connected, review your available rates when creating a shipment.
