How Do I Add and Use Custom Boxes in ShipTime?

Custom boxes let you save frequently used package sizes in ShipTime so you can reuse them for both Quote & Ship shipments and supported eCommerce orders.

Using accurate box dimensions and weights can help improve rate accuracy and make it easier to prepare shipments consistently.

Add a custom box

Log in to your ShipTime account.
Go to Settings > Boxes.

Select Add Box.
Enter the following details:
- Box Name
- Length
- Width
- Height
- Box Weight
  The box weight should include only the packaging material itself, not the weight of the products inside.
Select Save.

Your custom box will now be available in your box library.

Use custom boxes with eCommerce orders

For eCommerce stores using Real-Time Rates, ShipTime can use predefined custom boxes when calculating shipping rates.

To have ShipTime package items using your saved boxes, choose Packaged Items instead of Individual Items in your Real-Time Rate settings.
