What Can I Ship with ShipTime?

ShipTime supports a wide range of shipment types, from small parcels and envelopes to larger palletized freight.

You can use ShipTime for domestic and international courier shipments, same-day local delivery in supported areas, and LTL freight for larger shipments.

What types of shipments can I send?

With ShipTime, you can ship:

  • Parcels and packages: Compare available courier services for domestic and international shipments.
  • Courier envelopes and paks: Ideal for smaller, lightweight shipments.
  • Same-day local deliveries: Uber Direct is available in select areas for eligible local shipments.
  • LTL freight: Ship larger items such as pallets and crates using Less Than Truckload freight services.
  • International shipments: Compare available international courier services and manage your shipment details through ShipTime.

Are there size or weight limits?

Yes. Size and weight limits vary depending on the courier and service selected.

 Some parcel services can accommodate shipments up to 150 lb, while individual couriers and services may have lower limits or additional size restrictions.  LTL freight is available for shipments that are too large or heavy for standard parcel services.

For Uber Direct, eligible packages should generally be able to fit comfortably in the trunk of a midsize vehicle, and service availability depends on your location.

When creating a shipment, ShipTime will display the services available based on the shipment details you enter.

Are there items I can’t ship?

Yes. Certain items are restricted or prohibited due to courier requirements, safety regulations, or legal restrictions. Examples can include hazardous materials and live animals.

Always review the applicable carrier requirements and ShipTime terms before shipping an item that may be restricted.

What if my shipment is unusually large or heavy?

If your shipment is too large for standard parcel service, LTL freight may be a better option. ShipTime supports palletized freight shipments and offers LTL options for larger loads.
