How Do I Connect My WooCommerce Store to ShipTime?
You can connect your WooCommerce store to ShipTime to sync products and orders and, if desired, display live shipping rates at checkout.
Before you connect your WooCommerce store
If you previously connected WooCommerce to ShipTime using the Bridge Connector or Live Shipping 4 WooCommerce plugins, fully delete those plugins from WooCommerce before starting a new connection.
Connect WooCommerce to ShipTime
- Log in to your ShipTime account.
- Go to Integrations > New Integration.

- Select Connect to WooCommerce.

- You will be redirected to WooCommerce. Select Download to download the ShipTime plugin.

- Log in to your WooCommerce/WordPress admin account if you are not already signed in.
- In your WordPress admin area, go to Plugins > Add Plugin.

- Select Upload Plugin, then Choose File.

- Locate the ShipTime plugin file you downloaded and install it.

- Go to Plugins, find ShipTime: Discount Shipping, and select Activate.

Configure the ShipTime plugin in WooCommerce
- Go to the ShipTime plugin settings.
- Confirm that your address information is correct.
- Enable:
- ShipTime Plugin
- Live Shipping Rate Calculations, if you want to display ShipTime rates at checkout.
- Scroll down and select Save Changes.
- Return to the top of the page and select Connect.

Complete the connection in ShipTime
You will be redirected back to ShipTime. Log in again if prompted.
Enter your Store Name and select your preferred integration settings.

Real-Time Rates
Turn on Real-Time Rates if you want live ShipTime shipping rates to appear during WooCommerce checkout.

Default package dimensions
Enter the default:
- Length
- Width
- Height
These dimensions are used when product dimensions are missing.
Shipment preferences
Select any options you want to apply, including:
- Signature Required
- Include Residential Surcharge
- Include Insurance
Quoting method
Choose whether ShipTime should calculate rates using:
- Individual item dimensions, or
- Packaged items using boxes saved in your Box Library
When packaged-item quoting is selected, ShipTime checks your saved boxes to determine which one can accommodate the items in the cart and generates the quote using that box.
Handling fees
Enable Handling Fees if you want to include an additional handling amount in your checkout rates.
Finish connecting your store
When your settings are complete, select Update.
Your WooCommerce store will then be connected to ShipTime, and your products and orders will begin syncing.
