ShipTime applies a $1.50 label processing fee to certain shipments created using ShipTime rates for UPS domestic Canadian and cross-border services and FedEx US services.
The fee supports the additional processing, compliance, and courier coordination associated with these services.
Which Shipments Does the Fee Apply To?
The $1.50 label processing fee applies to:
- UPS domestic Canadian shipments using applicable ShipTime rates
- UPS cross-border shipments using applicable ShipTime rates
- FedEx US shipments using applicable ShipTime rates
The fee does not apply to Bring Your Own Rates (BYOR) shipments.
If an applicable shipment is cancelled, the label processing fee is fully refundable along with the eligible shipment charges.
Why Is There a Label Processing Fee?
Some UPS and FedEx US shipments require additional processing and operational support.
This can include:
- additional courier processing requirements
- cross-border and customs-related coordination
- brokerage-related requirements
- post-shipment billing or customs adjustments
- additional compliance and administrative support
The label processing fee helps ShipTime manage these requirements while continuing to provide support throughout the shipment process.
Where Will I See the Fee?
The label processing fee is displayed before you complete your shipment.
Choose Carrier
At the Choose Carrier step, a notice about the label processing fee appears below the price of each applicable service.
Finalize and Pay
The fee is also displayed at the Finalize and Pay step as part of the shipment's price breakdown.
The fee is applied when the applicable shipping label is generated.
What Happens If I Cancel the Shipment?
If you cancel an eligible shipment, the $1.50 label processing fee is fully refundable.
Standard shipment cancellation and refund requirements still apply.
